This past weekend Reliant installed a new, state of the art, web server. There are several features of this new server that will benefit you.

Reliant's New Product Show

On Wednesday, August 27, 2003 between 4:00pm–6:30pm Reliant will be hosting a New Product Table Top Show. During the show over $500 worth of prizes will be given away by 15 different manufacturers. Prize drawings will be held every half hour and you must be present to win! All of the new products at the show will be available in Reliant's 2004 product catalog. While you are looking at products you can snack on food provided by Chick-Fil-A. Stop by our office and see what the manufactures have come up with to help make your daily work life easier.

Inventory Closeout Special

Last week Reliant added a new section to ROLOS that will allow you to view our Inventory Closeout Specials. All of the products listed in this section are discounted by 50%. We have already had a great response to this new feature and hope that you have time to look at the product offerings. Once Reliant runs out of stock of a product it will be removed from this section of ROLOS and the 50% discount will go away. Quantities are limited!

This feature is located in ROLOS under the "Place an Order" link and by clicking on "Inventory Closeout Special".

Color Scheme Changes in ROLOS

Over the weekend we modified a few of the colors in ROLOS. These modifications were made to help you see product photos and read product descriptions. One of the things we added is the gray background behind the item details. Another modification is the active link color change. This feature will highlight a link with a special background color when it is active. You will see a big benefit of this feature in the Quick Order screen when you put in an item number and multiple products are returned.

Make the ROLOS navigation bar work on your computer

Every once in a while Reliant receives a phone call from a customer saying that the ROLOS Menu/Navigation bar does not work correctly. One symptom is that the words on the menu bar all run together making them hard to read. Another symptom is that the menu bar gets stuck when you hover over an option. While the symptoms can vary from computer to computer the solution is simple, easy, and quick. There are actually two solutions to correct this issue and they are both listed below.

1. INSTALL AN UPDATED WEB BROWSER
• Internet Explorer: Version 6.0 SP1
• Netscape: Version 7.1
2. CHANGE THE TYPE OF MENU NAVIGATION BAR THAT ROLOS USES
• Login to ROLOS.
• Select "Logout & Settings" from the menu bar.
• Choose "Your Settings".
• Next, click on "General Settings".
• Now, select the "Menu / Navigation Bar" link.
• Change the Option Value box from Windows Style to Text Style and save the change.
• Finally, you must logout of ROLOS and Log back in for the change to take effect.

• On the menu bar choose "Your Account".
